There Are No Shortcuts

Check out this quick post. This was a motivational message written in our private server by one of our members, STB, who blessed us with some words of wisdom to remind us of what path we are on.

Over the weekend I met up with a dear friend who is also a trader and widely successful business owner I was explaining my trading journey experience for the past 5 months as I was feeling blue the money I have lost so far

To no surprise he is repeating what so many great other successful folks are saying. He reminded me that 1 year, 3 years, or 5 years from now we will be looking back at all this as a lesson.

The first year is like going to college.

He reiterated: What separates successful individuals from everyone else is discipline & consistency. There are no shortcuts. The more you try to find the short cuts the longer it will take or even get there.

Emotional intelligence is key!

He suggested to reflect on my personal life and how that impacts my success in the market. How a person manages their interpersonal relationships, they may find similarities in how they manage their emotions with their trades.

The better you become at managing your personal life, the better trader/business owner you become.

The most dangerous part: Some people hang around people that are not holding them accountable. It’s so vital to pick people that are closest to you, to hold you to a higher standard, not to make you feel comfortable! This is another secret to getting better that some people don’t master and miss the wisdom behind this.

Otherwise you are creating a trap for yourself to keep you stagnant and comfortable in your own toxic patterns!

Sometimes no company is better than bad company.

I love Gold Rush because I feel we try to be transparent and real in here. Our mentors keep it 100%. Not just saying, writing it here, but actually take it to action.

This week I will continue fighting for my growth. Wrote some goals in my mirror today and got myself a whiteboard in my office. Much blessings to all of you this week!

It’s always necessary to take a step back to put things into perspective. When you are zoomed in way too much, you will miss some context. When you are only focused on the destination, you miss the beauty that exists in the path itself.
